Do Plasma TVs making a good multimedia TV?
I will conclude my computer to my TV and I know that the higher refresh rate of 120Hz LCD TVs is probably good. Since plasma TVs are not made with higher refresh rates, it means that there is no need for plasma to perform as well as multimedia TV? Are you able to read text clearly? I think I need more information than I have received so far. My current TV is connected via the DVI input and is set to 1024x768 on 60hertz. It is a 1080i TV. The picture is much sharper than it would with, say, an S-video cable, but it isn'y almost as sharp as a computer screen. I think my question is, how can you get a PC monitor sharpness? I think the higher refresh rate will help. Any plasma will be sharp?
LCDs are made with 120 Hz refresh rate in an attempt to reduce the blurring that can occur in LCDs because they can not change their pixel as quickly as plasmas can. So from this perspective, plasmas are not created with this function because they do not need it. LCD-use, yet leaves much to be desired, see link. Will you make sure your TV has a PC input = t, and you want to check out what decisions that input will work. Come TVs and PCs to to work together seamlessly is still a problem.
